Internship: Lab Technician – Electronics Lab

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lab Assistant / Research Assistant for state-of-the-art Electronics Testing facilities to contribute to the cutting-edge projects. The candidate will assist in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic component level, PCB level and systems.

This hands-on internship is ideal for graduate students (Master with research / PhD) and/or recent graduates having practical experience (2 to 3 Years) in Structural Testing laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and solder electronic circuits and prototypes.
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic components and systems using lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Assist in experiments with sensors, microcontrollers, or other devices.
  • Document procedures and results in technical reports.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
  • Organize lab tools and supplies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean lab.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and testing.
  • Experience with soldering and prototyping is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and programming is a plus.
  • Skilled in using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
